Well, the last few days, I decided I can't wait around for my editors. I am writing for me as much as for my fans. I love to write too and had to remind my self why I began in the first place. Because it is my love, my passion. The fact that so many people are also enjoying my books, is simply an added bonus. So getting back to basics, I am now in Chapter 8 of To Wed...or Not to Wed. I have decided to stop making excuses to avoid making these revisions and focus on reasons to do it. I am putting me and my passion as one of my top priorities, instead of squeezing it in, when if I have extra time and energy.
Remember, we all have the same 24 hrs in a day. Schedule some time for you and your passion. You never know, you may find the renewal of energy and time for other things as well. We can not, nor should we, always put ourselves last. Pen in time for you, every day. I say pen because you are just as important as any Dr, appointment. Keep it!!! Learn to say no to others once in a while. It will get easier in time, and the guilt will be replaced with a sense of renewal and a feeling of control over your life. You won't regret it, I promise!!
